Your journey begins as you make your way to the municipality of Lanquin, nestled in the heart of the cloud forest region You'll travel via shared transportation for approximately 9 hours, with two stops along the way for food and restroom breaks. Prepare to be amazed as you arrive in the cloud forest of las Verapaces, a region renowned for its microclimates and remarkable biodiversity. Once the shuttle leaves you at the bus stop, you'll make your way to your hotel and will take some time to relax and recharge, for tomorrow holds an exciting adventure in store for you!

Today, you'll have the incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Semuc Champey's paradisiacal pools, a unique protected national monument just a short pick-up ride away from Lanquin. These mesmerizing turquoise pools offer a perfect spot for swimming and exploring the surrounding trails. After your enriching visit to Semuc, you'll return to the hotel, where you can either enjoy a leisurely afternoon or partake in one of the exciting activities offered by the hotel.

Today you will take learn to move like a local when you take the public lancha (boat) from Panajachel to Santa Cruz la Laguna. You will have the opportunity to kayak surrounded by volcanoes for two hours or more. After your self-guided expedition, you can continue to explore Santa Cruz before taking the public boat back to Panajachel or one of the other picturesque towns to continue exploring.

Today you can enjoy a free day in the lake at your own pace. You can take the public boat to one of the colorful surrounding towns, relax in the hotel's temazcal, or stroll through the markets and colorful stalls. In the afternoon, a shuttle transfer will take you back to Antigua Guatemala. The journey will be approximately 3 hours. Take advantage of the night to get to know this incredible city and enjoy the nightlife.
